Mary Bahr Schwenke, MS, CCC-SLP
Vice President, School-Based Therapy Services

Mary is an ASHA Certified, Wisconsin and Illinois licensed speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of clinical and supervisory experience. Mary has been employed as an MJ Care associate for the majority of her career. During her tenure, she has developed and managed a therapy outpatient clinic, coordinated physical, occupational and speech-language therapy services in home-based, medical and school-based settings. She is currently the MJ Care Vice President of School-Based Services and is a Certified Telepractioner. Mary has dedicated her professional career to MJ Care because of their values and culture of respect, integrity and service excellence.

Mary believes in being a servant leader and spends many hours outside of the workday giving back to the professional, church and school communities. She is the Past President of the Wisconsin Speech- Language Pathology and Audiology Association (WSHA) and currently serves as the WSHA Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee as well as on local university advisory boards. At the national level, Mary proudly serves as the elected American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) SLP Advisory Council Wisconsin representative. Mary is passionate about educating and enhancing awareness of the roles and responsibilities of speech-language pathology and audiology professionals, advocating for the highest qualified provider and promoting the work of our professions.
