MJ Care submits claims weekly or monthly, depending on the requirements of the district. Our software is designed to keep superfluous claims out of the system by validating all claims prior to submission therefore creating very few, if any denials. (It accomplishes this by verifying monthly student eligibility for Medicaid benefits and re-verifies eligible students who may have had ineligible periods during the school year). The user can review and modify the information before submitting the billing. The software was also developed to access and import remittance and status reports.
The system provides and updates Medicaid eligibility information every month and if necessary on a daily basis. As an additional security measure, the software automatically verifies and tracks all the appropriate information for accurate claims processing.
Our software gives the user the ability to fully reconcile claims by importing claim payment or remittance information. The system displays only unpaid claims and provides a simple way to view reasons for denial and re-bill, or on rare occasion write off the claim.
