Rehabilitation Management

In addition to staffing your facility with trained and experienced therapists, MJ Care provides an on-site and dedicated Rehab Director to manage your therapy department. A Rehab Clerk is also on-site to handle clerical duties, allowing therapists more time to spend with patients. Our therapists maximize therapy outcomes and resident and family satisfaction because they are knowledgeable, experienced and quickly become fully integrated into facility interdisciplinary care teams. They are committed to improving the quality of life of all individuals by providing individualized treatment regimes that focus on the current living environment and achieve the highest level of function possible. The on-site staff is backed up by a company network of highly experienced rehab and other professionals, including a Regional Director or Area Manager, who maintains regular contact with facility administration, PT, OT and SLP Clinical Consultants, reimbursement and denial management specialists, and marketing, billing and IT personnel. We pride ourselves on having realistic productivity goals. With one of the lowest productivity standards of any company in Wisconsin, we encourage our therapists to spend time tending to resident, family and staff needs. By focusing on the needs of the patient, progress will be more successfully achieved through the flexibility of individual, group or a combination of treatment sessions.

Marketing Support

To grow the therapy programs and continue to enhance the reputation of the rehabilitation services offered, MJ Care supports the facility's efforts to expand the existing referral base to increase referrals, admissions, and occupancy to ultimately strengthen revenue generation. The Rehab Director, along with corporate marketing staff, is available to support facility directed outreach and sales calls to medical specialists, conduct pre-admission patient assessments and participate in local community health fairs. Outcomes studies can be used for distribution to referral sources, therapists can join and participate in local and regional associations or networking organizations, and we can assist in developing collateral materials and direct mail pieces.
